Directions for use - Fashy Hot Water Bottle
Do not use boiling water, hot tap water may also cause scalding. Do not overfill the hot water bottle, you may risk bursting. Slowly fill to maximin 2/3 of the hot water bottle holding it at the bottle neck in an upright position in order to avoid the splashing back of water. To avoid splitting the shoulder seam Fashy advise to hold the bottle by the neck (exactly where the stopper is) whilst the other hand unscrews the stopper.
If the bottle is held below the neck on the body and twisted when opening the stopper, the pressure is directly on the seam and will weaken this part of the bottle.
Carefully release residual air. Tighten the screw plug adequately and check it for tightness
Avoid contact with hot or sharp surfaces, oil, grease and sunlight and do not put objects on the hot water bottle.
Never use the Hot water bottle as a pillow, never sit down on it.
Store the completely emptied hot water bottle after use in a cool, dry and dark place.
Warning: Do not heat in the microwave or in baking oven. Hot water bottles may cause burns (in case of sensitive skin from as low as temperatures of 41°C). Therefore, you should avoid contact with the skin over a longer period of time or use an adequate cover for the hot water bottle. Do not use any additives eg common salt, essential oil or the like. Children, helpless people, sick persons or persons who are insensitive to heat may use the hot water bottle only under the supervision of adults. Check the hot water bottle and its screw plug for wear and damage prior to use. Please use original fashy screw plugs only.
We recommend replacing the hot water bottle after five years. The product may be disposed of with the household waste.
